Hibiki 21 Years Old is a meticulously blended combination of carefully selected ripe grain and malt whisky for a lengthy period of at least 21 years. It is distinguished by a mature aroma, incredibly fruity and reminiscent of sweet flowers, and a smooth, light flavour. This blend allows you to enjoy the strong body, mellow richness and profound, long finish only found in a whisky aged for 21 years. Hibiki 21 YO has won countless competitions from World Whiskies Awards, Whisky Magazine’s World Best Whisky, and International Spirits Challenge. The Whisky guru Jim Murray of Whisky Bible awarded it 96 points. Due to its enormous popularity, the dram has become increasingly difficult to obtain.

Cherry fruitcake... with more black cherries than cake. Spiced sherry notes embrace the oak with a voluptuous richness.
TASTE: 24.5/25
Virtually perfect texture: seemingly silk-like but then a massive outbreak of busy oaky vanilla and juicy barley; the creamy mouth feel supports a mix of maple syrup and muscovado sugars; the middle moves towards walnut oiliness.
FINISH: 23.5/25
Long, spicy with a gentle date and walnut fade.
BALANCE AND OVERALL COMPLEXITY: 24/25
A celebration of blended whisky, irrespective of which country it is from. Of its style, it's hard to raise the bar much higher than this. Stunning.
